Video Source Summary

The Beatles explained why they are called "The Beatles," Ringo explains how his name came to be, (from wearing rings all the time), and you see the Beatles in their quirky, and goofy state that made people come to love them, and also stand out from all the other bands.

Question:
Do you think the Beatles were actually serious about their music career, or were they were goofing off all the time like in this video?

  1. I think the Beatles took their work seriously at the same time as enjoying themselves. They wrote many of their own songs, many of which are well known. Like many artists and bands, they were able to goof off in their free time to relieve themselves from all the stress of being famous.

  2. I think that the Beatles were serious about their career but not in front of the camera. You said in your post that people loved them because of their goofy attitude but that's the only one they saw. People didn't see them when they were in the studio or backstage. All of this could be a show to make their fans fall in love with them. If they weren't serious they wouldn't have gotten far in music.
